Some key figures (as at 31st August, 2011): 16 billion € in consolidated revenues 391,000 employees 33,400 sites 50 million consumers served daily Sodexo’s Group Supply Chain department is looking to recruit a Travel Manager, to be based at our headquarters in Issy-les-Moulineaux. MISSION The Group Supply Chain Department is creating a new position of Travel Manager in order to reduce and control travel expenses. Her/his main roles & responsibilities will cover the following areas. Travel Policy & Change Management • Identify and value evolutions in the travel policy or organization and recommend optimization plans • Advice and support implementation of changes with respect to procedures, communication, tools… • Coordinate and manage a network of European countries in order to share best practices, build and promote international programs • Promote program implementation in new countries • Support entities in France that have just implemented these initiatives to consolidate common plans (i.e. reporting, communication and training). Procurement & Providers Management • Run tenders and negotiations, valuing potential savings and service benefits • Select, contract and implement new service providers, control tariffs application • Implement Service Level Agreement, KPI’s and dashboards, organize business reviews and conduct satisfaction surveys in order to manage providers’ performance. Tools and solutions design and deployment • Identify needs, design and deploy tools and projects (in France and in other countries) in order to optimize internal procedures and online booking services. Controlling and reporting • Analyze costs, compliance to travel policy and external benchmarking • Identify areas of progress, and recommend appropriate actions. The above scope of responsibilities is not exhaustive and shall be extended to other groups of services in the medium to long term. PROFILE • Around 8 years of experience as a Travel Manager in an international organisation • Solid project management and change management skills • Leadership skills: negotiation, networking, communication, diplomacy and interpersonal skills • Influencing skills • Strong analysis / synthesis / data crunching / reporting capacities • Autonomy and capacity to manage teams transversally, across functions and countries • Rigorous and organized • Fluent in French and English The position is based at Issy-les-Moulineaux, the Group headquarters.
